Traffic Violations
Did you know?
Unlike basketball, accruing points on your driving record is not a good thing. North Carolina's point system for traffic tickets and other moving vehicle violations impact your ability to maintain your driver’s license and auto insurance.
Your driver’s license can be suspended or revoked if you accumulate 12 DL points over a three-year period. In addition, if you are convicted of a moving vehicle violation you will receive insurance points.
Consequences of traffic violations can be just as expensive as they are serious.
Insurance premiums could increase between 50% and 500% for a three-year period depending on the offense
There are options to avoid points on your license and your insurance. Our goal at Crow & Smith, LLP is to resolve your case and ensure you avoid unnecessary penalties.
